GP2 Championship leader Jolyon Palmer aims to return to his winning ways at Germany’s Hockenheim circuit this weekend as the season reaches its midway point.
Palmer has held the lead from the start of the season, scoring two race victories and four other podiums in the ten races so far.
The 23-year-old, from Southwater, leads the standings by 38 points from Felipe Nasr, after extending his advantage at Silverstone two weekends ago.
He said: “After just missing out on the win at Silverstone, I’m definitely aiming for the top step this weekend. There are a few overtaking opportunities at Hockenheim, so the racing should be exciting.”
