Nikki Purton completed a Mannings Heath hat-trick, firing 77 to win the Shirley Dene Cup at the Ladies Autumn meeting, adding to the Claude Champion Cup and the Shepps Cup won earlier this year.
Her score on the Waterfall Course also earned her the Gross & Handicap Shields (Aggregate scores for the Spring & Autumn Meetings).
In the bronze division, Carole Bauckham fired a gross 98 to lift the Cayzer Cup. Meanwhile, the silver division nett prize went to Pat Etheridge, whose 75 was two strokes clear of Brenda james, who beat Lesley-Anne Collins-Powell into third by a shot.
Eleanor Wilkin won the bronze division nett prize, carding 76, with Margaret Edwards second on countback from Jenny Reed after both recorded 83s.
Nikki and carole then joined forces to win the afternoon nine-hole greensomes, cobining for 21 points, two clear of Pat Etheridge and Lynne Jones and Mina Burton and Marion Gibson.
Elsewhere the seniors and ladies’ sections joined forces for the Geoffrey Walker Bowls - won by Lyn Turner and Patrick Burdett’s 36 stableford points. Joy Reineck and Eddie Searles were a point back on 35, with Janet Bayne and Allan Wild carding 34.
And in the ifnla major of the year, the Men’s Autumn Meeting, Will THomas shot rounds of 68 and 72 to win by two shots from Tony Nash. Ali Crunden had set the pace in the first round with a sparkling 67, a score matched by Andy Simmons in the nett competition on Sunday.
Andy Main won the scratch competition, with rounds of 72 and 73, eight shots clear of Richard Burton.
