Snapping at Mill House’s heels are Roffey Y, who beat Stout House BB in a ding-dong battle, as Ricky Dewdney set the stanard with a high break of 8,520 and score of 14,320. Gareth lloyd hit back with a mighty 14.450 as both sides traded points until Lee Cable sealed the 3-2 win for Roffey.
Black Dog’s debut at their new home ended in victory - Dave Evans tok the decider afyer Southwater’s Gordon Ling scored 5,760.
Dun Horse B stay joint-second after their win at the Holbrook Club, Derek Taylor and Robb Hall put the Horse in front before Lorraine Hall’s 6,380 wrapped it up.
Limeburners share top spot in Division 2 with the Plough after a 4-1 win at Stout House. Tony Temple and Chip Sawyer set the Burners on their way before Steve Holden’s 5k score ensured the match was in the bag. Keith Newman grabbed Stout’s solitary point.
Meanwhile, the Plough recorded a 3-2 win at Dun Horse, Geoff Parsons led the way with 6k while Steve Vizor’s fine last leg display sealed the win.
