Horsham ladies have slipped into the bottom three in the Investec Women’s Conference East.
They went down 3-0 away to third-place Harleston Magpies on Saturday.
Three quick goals sealed Horsham’s fate as they slumped to their fourth straight league defeat.
Captain Hannah Simpson is now relishing a week off where they will get back to working hard on the training pitch.
She said: “This week was again another disappointing result. It was a long travel to Harleston and we knew it was going to be a tough game.
“Harleston started the quicker of the teams and scored three quick goals. “After half-time we played much better as a team and created opportunities. “However, we were unable to score and the result stood as 3-0.
“Now with a week off it is time to reflect and work on aspects of our game ready for a tough match against St Albans on November 8.
