JOLYON Palmer heads for the glitz of Monaco this weekend hoping for a change of fortune.
The GP2 racer, from Southwater, who is in his second season in the Formula 1 feeder series, will tackle the famous streets of Monte Carlo after his iSport team rebuilt his car which was struggling which electrical problems. And Jolyon is keen to put that right in the Principality.
“I can’t wait for Monaco,” said Jolyon. “It’s the one weekend I’ve been looking forward to all year. Driving around there is great and it is flat out all race.
“This year we have a split qualifying of 14 minutes each. This is a good move by GP2 because last year was manic with 26 cars. I hope we can get the car to work and I will be confident.”
