Bryan Camfield led the Horsham Joggers home in the scramble for points at Sussex Grand Prix season finale.
He clocked 38m 42s to be the first of 18 Joggers to finish the Crowborough 10k - and with the Horsham club fourth going into the final race, there is much to play far as final results are calculated.
Rachel Guckenheim was the first female Horsham Jogger to finish, closely followed by Ali Gormley. Some of the club’s females took on the Worthing Running Sisters Christmas Cracker races over 5k and 10k.
Lucinda Potten won the 5k race in 20m31s ahead of Val Purnell, who was also first Vet 50 in 20m 55s. Stephanie Charman took 37th spot in 32m, 17s.
In the 10k race Margaret Wadman cloked 58m09s, followed by Diane Berry (58-50), Ann Figg (59-16), Rebecca Clay (59-42), and Caroline Bransden (59-59). The weekly Tilgate 5k Parkrun saw fine runs by HJ’s Paul Addie (21m45s), Raff Vitale (22m23s), James Munden (26m 24s) and Victoria Saunders (41m 00s).
