Young Horsham hockey ace Amelia Frett has been selected for a national hockey assessment camp.

After strong displays representing Hurstpierpoint College, Amelia was selected in the under 18 Saxon Tigers colours with Harvey Waller along with fellow Hurst pupil Harvey Waller in the England Hockey Board Futures Cup for the tournament and were both put forward for the national camp.

“Having five players selected to play at the EHBFC is a signal of the dramatically increasing strength of Hurst hockey” said Head of Hockey Chris Wilson.

“Some of those players have been selected for the franchises on successive occasions, demonstrating to the rest of the hockey club the high level that can be achieved.”
