Byron Napper’s first Horsham goal secured a fine 1-0 win away at Guernsey last night (Wednesday) as Simon Colbran’s side made it two wins from two league games.

Following their opening-day victory over Eastbourne Town, the Hornets flew out to play in the Channel Islanders’ first ever game in the Ryman League at their home ground.

And a goal from the former Crawley and Crawley Down midfielder Napper in the second half saw them spoil the hosts’ party and continue their winning start to the new campaign.

Further details and reaction to follow.
