Maximums from Alan Wyatt, Terry Thornton and Dan Waller helped Roffey S&SC B open up a 15 point lead in Horsham Darts League Division 1 after two defeats of The Windmill in one night.

Roffey’s cause in their 7-2 and 8-1 wins was helped by checkouts of 100 (Thornton), 101 (Wyatt) and (120) Joe Davis.

Also in Division 1 Ady Davey’s 180 and Mick Short’s 115 outshot inspired the Railway’s 5-4 win at BBHeath VC B, for whom Gareth Syverson hit a maximum and 100 checkout.

Elsewhere Rob Gladman hit a 180 for the Cat & Canary in their 5-4 loss to Kings Arms Billingshurst.

In Division 2, leaders Roffey S&SC B whitewashed HFC@The Norfolk top open up a 21-point advantage while second placed Kings Arms, Horsham slipped-up when they went down 5-4 to Rising Sun Alliance, with Graham Stevens checking out on 118.

Other results saw Roffey S&SC A keep tabs on the leaders by winning 5-4 at The Rising Sun, while Roffey CC pulled themselves back into contention for promotion with a 6-3 win over Horsham C&SC.
