Jen Cole carded the only under par round to win the Mannings Heath Beryl Jones Putter competition.
She was four strokes clear of the field with her nett 72, beating Gilly Ewers, who took the Silver Division prize. Joy Reineck, last year’s winner, was also five shots back but scooped the bronze prize ahead of James.
In the men’s August stableford, Ed Roberts picked up 39 points off his six handicap to win Division 1, while Phillip Andrews led the way with Division 2 with 38 points.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, junior Elliott Webster returned a stunning 43 point haul with Andy Jones carding 39 to lead the second tier.
Twelve year-old Jamie Dart was the star of Saturday’s junior stableford with a superb gross 85 off the medal tees which included ten pars and a birdie. He was almost matched by Tim Finnerty, off nine, who was only over par gross on the 18th tee but failed to add to his 41 point total.
