HORSHAM swimmer Cam Lambourne led the way in an exciting second and final weekend at the 2011 Sussex County Swimming Championships.
The Atlantis SC senior boys captain, 15, secured gold for the second year running in a thrilling conclusion to the blue riband 100m Free Mens’ Open Championship.
Cam contributed a further three regional qualifying times to the 20 achieved by Atlantis swimmers over the two day competition.
Kate, 10, and Ella Windle, 12, were also in form with Kate winning 50m free, 100m, 200m and 400m individual medley and 200m back, and Ella 100m and 200m IM gold medals, achieving five regional times between them.
Beth Britain, Jade Stocker and James Hartley also won gold with Jess Matlock, Katy Harris, Aimee Davies, Eleanor Morris, Beth Britton, Rebecca Lobley, Jade Stocker and Matt Fulcher all regional qualifiers.
Atlantis head coach Bill Benny said: “I am immensely proud of all our swimmers who have worked so hard to achieve these results. They succeeded at all levels of the competition.”
The results mean Atlantis were ranked second overall, with the girls’ team joint first.
