Horsham Boxing Club’s annual show will celebrate it’s sixth consecutive year at The Holbrook Club with what is expected to be it’s best and biggest yet on Saturday.

With no less that 19 Horsham fighters expected to compete, it stands to be a real knock out event at North Heath Lane.

Those in attendance can expect to see four junior bouts including debuts for Havey Divall and Aaron Tarrant alongside experienced Harry Orsini competing in his 18th bout.

After the younger boxers, there will follow 17 bouts, dominated by home boxers including two women, notably hard-hitting Sam Mcelland, who competes for the fifth time and with two stoppage victories already to her name, an all-action display is likely.

Also on the bill are experienced light heavyweight brothers Anthony and Merle Cavagnuolo, tough and durable welterweights Ryan Brown and Oscar Canitrot, alongside debutees Oliver Gale and Ben Cannell amounts a host of other Horsham-based boxers.

Matchmaker and coach Dan Purchase said: “After a slow end to last season and a quiet Summer in the gym, we’re very lucky to have lots of new and returning talent in the club and the atmosphere is great at the moment.

“John Essex and I have been working together matching bouts for the show and we really feel that the club has a great chance to get some results this year and it’s guaranteed to be an exciting night for all that attend.”

Tickets can be bought at The Holbrook Club, by calling Horsham Boxing Club on 07554453862 or Apache Menswear. They are £15 in advance with any left sold for £17.50 on the door. Doors open at 7pm.
