Memorial match at Gorings Mead for ex-YMCA player

A memorial game will take place at Gorings Mead on Sunday in honour of former Horsham YMCA player Darran Stone.

The Gatwick firefighter lost his battle with motor neurone disease back in 2011 at the age of 44.

A Horsham YMCA XI of former team-mates will take on a Gatwick Fire Brigade XI in a 2pm kick-off.

As well as YMCA, Darran counted Oakwood and Three Bridges as his former clubs.

All money raised will go to the MND Association, for who Darran raised money for before his death.
