Jonny Northeast, sports scientist at Swansea City with Capital One Cup

Jonny Northeast, a former pupil at The College of Richard Collyer, lifted the League Cup with Swansea City last weekend.

Jonny completed an Advanced Apprenticeship in Personal Training and worked at the Holbrook Club while at the Hurst Road college between 2007 and 2008, and now a Sports Scientist with the Premier League side, was able to join in the celebrations when they beat Bradford 5-0 at Wembley.

Since completing the course he gained a BSc in Sports Conditioning, Rehabilitation.

He said: “That year working in the industry gave me the cutting edge and a head-start in my career.”
