Merstham 2 Mann 71 Carley 84 Horshsm YMCA 2 Geddes 84< Huckett 90 +4/strong>

HORSHAM YMCA have snatched a draw from the jaws of defeat with a last gasp leveller at Merstham.

Mo Mann fired the hosts ahead on 71 minutes, but that was cancelled out by Gavin Geddes six minutes from time with his first YM goal.

YM's good work to get level was immediately undone though, as seconds later Tom Rand blundered by presenting Craig Carley with a chance to score from 20 yards.

It was a late charge that saved the day though, as Mark Pulling's cross was met by Mike Huckett with a glancing header to rescue a point.

90 mins +4 GOAL With almost the final touch of the game, Mike Huckett stoops at the near post to glance a header into the far corner, and reprieve YM.

After that absolutely bonkers minute, YM have lost their composure, all seem pretty livid with their keeper.

84 mins GOAL. Shocking YM defending as Tom Rand drops a clanger and Craig Carley is allowed to make it 2-1 within a matter of seconds.

HORSHAM YMCA have enjoyed by far the better of the first half tonight at Merstham.

The visitors have played with a howling gale at their backs, and put Merstham under incredible pressure in the first 20 minuntes. But keeper Mark Rouse has only had one save to make. The best chance of the half fell to Craig Carley - the Merstham striker saw his header cleared off the line, when the home side were convinced it had gone in.

45 mins: Steve Metcalf sees a back post header hacked off the line, YM might live to regret failing to capitalise on the conditions.

28 mins: Mike Huckett flashes a shot wide after Jost Westcott pounces on some unsteady ball control.

That wind is going to be an absolute nightmare to defend against in the second half, YM will want, or need, a couple of goals head start.

23mins: Craig Carley's cross causes panic in the YM box which they eventually deal with despite numerous men from either side piling into the box, and falling over.

12 mins: YM are playing with the wind gusting at their backs, and Ton Rand's drop kick is allowed to reach Tom lawley in the home penalty area, but his shot curls over.

Seconds later, Sadough drags a shot wide. It's all YM at the moment, they need to capitalise you feel.

9 mins: Surprisingly jittery from the home side, Rouse's poor goal kick is siezed upton by Shaheen Sadough, whose shots fizzes just over.
