HORSHAM remain rock bottom of the Ryman Premier Division after Tuesday night's 2-1 defeat to Hendon.
Hendon's Jamie Busby hit the winner from the spot nine minutes from time after Jay Lovett brought Aaron Morgan downm as Gorsham siffered a fifth defeat in six matches.
Earlier, Allan Tait had cancelled out Lubomir Guentchev's opener by capitalising on a goalkeeping error, but Hendon carried the greater threat throughout.
There was some cheer for the home fans though, as Gary Charman returned from a nine month injury lay off to come on as substitute after breaking his cheekbone against Hendon.
