HORSHAM YMCA are licking their lips over a tasty potential tie with more illustrious tenants Horsham FC
YM though must first win a tough Extra Preliminary Round at Raynes Park Vale on August 11 and assistant manager Dave Smith says they will be going all out to set up the all Horsham clash.
He said: “That will be tough as they are a feeder club for Sutton and Kingstonian.
“All holidays will be cancelled as we really want to be playing against Horsham, even though we will have to use the visitors’ changing room and away dug-out at our own ground!”
And on the potential Preliminary Round meeting on August 25 at Gorings Mead on August - where Horsham have ground shared for the last two seasons - Smith added: “It will be a good crowd-pleaser and we’ll be trying 110 per cent to win in this local derby - there’s the history behind the two clubs, there’ll be a big crowd and it’s the FA Cup - it will be great.”
