HORSHAM YMCA manager John Cumberbatch will tell his Horsham YMCA side to forget local hostilities in Bank Holiday Monday’s clash against Worthing.
With former YM boss Chris White making his first return to Gorings Mead with several ex YM players the Sussex derby has an added spice.
But Cumberbatch, who will take charge of his first home game on Monday, cares little for the game’s background.
He said: “There is only one story as far as we are concerned, and that’s that we are at the foot of the table. Whether we are playing against Worthing or against Dulwich Hamlet it’s the same thing. We have to be 100 per cent focused on trying to pick up points.
“Every single match is of major importance to us.”
Central midfielder Kevin Lott is expected to be added to the squad in time for Monday’s game, the former Dover man played under Cumberbatch at Ashford Town. “There is a very good chance of him starting, and there might be one or two others,” the boss commented.
