STORRINGTON manager Rick Hamilton says his side will relish the role of underdogs in tomorrow’s (Friday) County League Division 2 Cup final.
The Swans face AFC Uckfield, who this week clinched promotion to Division 1, and Hamilton believes the pressure is all on their big spending opposition who boast players of Ryman League experience.
Hamilton said: “We always play better as underdogs, it tends to drag us up and makes us play.
“I am looking forward to the challenge. Uckfield have some experienced players, I don’t begrudge them that, they have expectation that goes with it.
“The club deserves this final, I am so pleased for the guys who work hard at the club to produce success on a zero budget.”
Storrington v AFC Uckfield kicks off at 7.45pm tomorrow at Sussex FA headquarters, in Culver Road, Lancing.
