FRENCH midfielder Williams Peauroux will be released from Horsham after agreeing terms with Three Bridges.
The player was subject to a seven-day approach from the County League outfit and after expressing his desire to speak to the club was left out of Saturday’s draw at Billericay.
Having agreed terms Peauroux has played his last game in a Horsham shirt and will be released after the seven days is up.
Horsham boss Simon Colbran said: “When I spoke to him he said he wanted to play at a higher level and the next thing he’s leaving us to play for Three Bridges in the County League.
“I left him out of Saturday’s squad because I only want players here who are 100 per cent committed and focused on playing for Horsham Football Club.”
Colbran has though made a new signing in teenage winger Femi Akintunde. The pacy 18 year old was recently released by Barnet and goes straight into tonight’s squad to travel to Wealdstone for the rearranged league fixture.
“I’m also looking to add a couple of other faces because you need a squad of around 20 to compete in this league,” Colbran added.
Horsham are already looking thin on the ground for this evening’s game, with Louis Hollingsworth and Tony Nwachukwu absent with work commitments, while Jake Jacobs is also missing due to his duel contract with Havant & Waterlooville.
Add to that the absence of Andy Atkins, who became a father on Friday, and doubts over both Ian Varley and Ray Freeman, and Horsham could find themselves short.
Colbran wants his side to show the same belief as they did in holding league leaders Billericay to a 2-2 draw on Saturday, and will be hoping the Stones have their minds on their FA Trophy semi-final second leg against Newport County at the weekend.
