HORSHAM captain Ben Andrews will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a recurrance of his knee ligament injury.

The skipper suffered the injury to the same knee which kept him out of action for 12 matches earlier this season, in training on Tuesday night. He will now miss all of Horsham’s remaining matches.

And with Anthony Storey and Paul Kennett suspended, the loss of their skipper comes ahead of a busy week.

Andrews said: “It was right at the end of training. I went in for a tackle and somehow my foot got stuck in the grass and I went to turn when my knee just popped like it did last time.

“I am gutted to be perfectly honest, it’s a real disappointment. It has come up exactly the same as it did last time, every time I try to twist it is very very painful.”
