LIVE: Three Bridges v Horsham

TONIGHT’S cup match is expected to feature the intriguing sub plot of a first return against Horsham for former fan’s favourite Lee Carney, as Three Bridges host the semi-final of the Brighton Charity Cup (KO 7.45pm).

The centre midfielder racked up more than 300 appearances for the Hornets before joining County League One Bridges in December 2009, and tonight’s contest should provide a welcome distraction from both club’s league woes.

Horsham have Gary Charman, Ben Andrews and Jack Page missing but boss John Maggs will name a strong team and is expected to start with an experimental formation.

Maggs will be hoping for some momentum ahead of their four league games to keep out of the relegation mire, while Bridges are enduring a tough spell at the opposite end of their respective league, with the wheels on their seemingly unstoppabble promotion charge appearing to be falling off.

The winner will face either Worthing or Shoreham in the final.
