HORSHAM YMCA are yet to hear which division they will be playing in next season.
Their relegation from Ryman League Division 1 South was rubber stamped over the weekend when The FA released it’s organisation of Step 4 of non league football - with YM replaced in Division 1 South by promoted Crawley Down.
Chairman Mick Browning believes he will be told this week whether the Sussex County League or the Combined Counties awaits, and admits Sussex would be his preference.
“I would assume they would replace Crawley Down with us,” Browning commented. “I think that would be our choice.
“But whatever league we are in, it makes no difference to Sammy (new manager Donnelly). He will plod on, we have to start a fresh.”
