HUGO Langton has added highly-rated midfielder Kery Kedze to the Horsham ranks and the 19-year-old is expected to go straight into the side at Littlehampton tonight.
Kedze scored two against The Hornets in a pre-season friendly for Croydon Athletic and Langton has known about the teenager for some time.
He told the club’s website: “Kery and I have moved in similar circles for a while now.
“He came to us at Thamesmead when I was a coach, on the recommendation of Charlton Athletic, but for whatever reason the manager didn’t fancy him but he was good enough to catch the eye of Martin Allen who invited him for a trial at Notts County.
“He tore us apart at Croydon pre-season and I’m really looking forward to seeing what he can do for us.”
Langton has also signed goalkeeper Michael Hunter from Crawley Down. He was an unused substitute in Saturday’s 5-1 defeat to Cray Wanderers, but like Kadze could start this evening’s Sussex Senior Cup Third Round tie.
Tony Nwachukwu returns tonight against the County League outfit but there are a number of players missing. Defenders Ian Varley and Jake Jacobs are both suspended, Craig Davies is unwell, Ray Freeman has work commitments while Ryan Woodford will be out for some time after coming off injured on Saturday.
