JOHN Maggs saluted Jamie Cade after the new Horsham signing bagged both goals in Tuesday night’s 2-1 defeat of Carshalton Athletic.
Debutant Cade, signed as a free agent after leaving Hastings this week, netted twice in the second half, one a firm header, and the other a lucky ricochet, as Horsham recorded back to back Ryman League wins for the first time this season.
“He is quality,” Maggs said. “You only have to look at one of his passes in the first half 30, 40 yards on the volley. It’s the sort of quality we have not had.
“We are getting very good value for money with Jamie.
“He is good friends with Anthony Storey and I am glad I have them both here together.”
