HEATH made it 22 points out of a possible last 27 with only one defeat since mid October with an eventually comfortable win at Fairfield Sports Ground.
Manager Steve Painter was anxious to avoid an anti climax after last week’s victory over Newhaven and after 20 minutes it seemed that Heath were going to make hard work of getting anything from the game.
Although John McBride in the Heath goal was rarely troubled, the hosts’ energetic closing down stopped Heath getting their game going.
Heath came close to finding the net both before and just after half-time, so it was no surprise when Ollie Moore put the visitors ahead after following up his blocked initial shot.
Heath continued to threaten through Jack Reader, Sultan, Wood and Moore and went further ahead when a clever chipped pass from Arthur was smacked home by Sultan from just inside the box with the home keeper not having time to move and Heath ran out 2-0 winners.
The last ten minutes saw Heath introduce Jake Mulcahy and Shane Meech for their league debuts, bringing to a total of eight home grown players in the match day squad.
Heath have a Division Three Cup semi-final against Ifield at Horsham YMCA this Wednesday evening.
Elsewhere in Division 3 there was an even more convincing three points for promotion-chasing Forest, who put Ifield Edwards to the sword with a 5-1 win.
Defender Aaron Jeal scored a brace, while also on target for the Tangerines was Andre Elkana, Ross Swaine and finally a Joe Holvey penalty late on after Elliott Hawkes had been fouled in the box.

In other County League results, in Division 2 Loxwood won 4-1 away at Rustington, Steyning beat Seaford convincingly 3-0, but Storrington went down 3-1 at home to East Preston.
In Division 3 Roffey drew 3-3 with Uckfield and TD Shipley went down 1-3 at home to Rottingdean Village.
