STORRINGTON were knocked out of the Brighton Charity Cup at the hands of big spending Three Bridges on Tuesday night, but Swans manager Ricky Hamilton had nothing but praise for his troops.
In a game of few real clear cut chances both Bridges goals came in the second half through Lee Carney and Elliott Romain as the Division 1 promotion chasers progressed to the semis.
Hamilton said: “We equipped ourselves very well and didn’t look out of our depth at all, which was positive considering I had a number of players injured.
“The guys who came in did a good job. Three Bridges deserved to win the tie but we defended well and had a few chances of our own so overall I’m really pleased.”
