FOREST took the local bragging rights with an entertaining 3-2 win against Broadbridge Heath in COunty League Division 3 on Tuesday evening.
The win sees Dave Cocoracchio’s men narrow the gap to Ifield Edwards, who are a place above them, to just two points as the season reaches its conclusion.
It was a fifth win of the campaign for Forest, who have started to turn things round, but they had to do it the hard way as Heath scvored twice in the first half.
Russell Mortimer, who has bagged 14 goals for Steve Painter’s side this term, netted after eight minutes, and Michael Wood scored five minutes into first half stoppage time.
But Forest, who are engaged in the scramble at the bottom had too much over the 90 minutes to run out 3-2 winners.
