Chris Dumbrill headed the extra time winner as Roffey came from a goal behind to beat Holbrook in the Sussex Intermediate Cup.
Roffey, of County league Division 3, recovered well from going a goal behind to their West Sussex League hosts, and after Jason Barbour levelled in spectacular fashion, Drumbrill pounced in the second minute of extra time.
“We made hard work of it ,” Roffey boss Dan Redman said. “It was not some of the best football we have played this season, but we ground it out.”
Holbrook capitalised on a sluggish Roffey start to take the lead when they sprung the offside trap, and held the advantage until the break.
Roffey were made to wait until the hour mark to level, when Barbour collected the ball in midfield and lashed a long-range effort into the top corner.
Barbour then hit the post as Holbrook held on for extra-time - but he turned provider in the 92nd minute, crossing for Drumbrill to head the winner.
