Jake Holmes and Michael Wood netted for Broadbridge Heath as they marked their return to Division 2 after a four year absence with an entertaining point at home to Seaford.
Despite a bright start from the hosts - promoted after a SCFL re-shuffle - with Martyn Flack and Rob Godfrey going close, Seaford went in front before the break, when Tony Russell’s shot beat Heath keeper James Fisher.
But a positive response saw new signing Jake Holmes come off the bench to level after combining with Mark Cave. Three minutes later, Jamal Sultan teed-up Wood for a cool finish to put Steve Painter’s men in front.
The lead did not last long though, and with 15 minutes remaining, Seaford’s Michael Lloyd grabbed the leveller from the edge of the box to earn his side a 2-2 draw.
