YM seal season-long deal for striker Romain
Elliott Romain will stay on at Horsham YMCA until the end of the season
Elliott Romain has agreed to extend his loan at Sussex County League Division 1 club Horsham YMCA until the end of the season.
The Three Bridges striker, who was instrumental in their promotion to the Ryman League last season, initially signed for YM on a month long loan, and immediately settled at Gorings Mead, scoring eight goals.
Romain also resisted the advances of several Ryman League sides to extend his stay at YM.
Manager Peter Buckland said: “When the loan period was finished, for reasons unknown to myself, Elliott did not want to return to his former club, Three Bridges. “As a football manager, I would be foolish not to accept Elliott into our team.”
