Loxwood beat Horsham YMCA 2-0 in the Sussex Senior Cup last night, and we captured some of the action, including what was very nearly a comical own goal.
The hosts were leading 1-0 when YM midfielder Dean Cox saw his volleyed clearance hit substitute Dan Evans, and spin narrowly wide of goal with keeper Simon Lockwood scrambling.
Goals from Joe Holvey and Paul Walshe sealed the Loxwood win, while keeper Sam Smithmade some impressive second half saves to keep YM at bay.
