Crawley Town manager Richie Barker blamed poor decision making by some of his players for allowing Cheltenham Town to beat them last night.
Reds led 3-1 midway through the second half thanks to a Nicky Adams brace and a goal by Gary Alexander.
However the Crawley defence then conceded three goals as they were dumped out of the Capital One Cup in the first round.
Barker said: “We had some poor decision-making and a lack of guts to put your head in a place where it might get hurt. We played some fantastic football, some good goals and were always looked a threat going forward but unfortunately so did they.”
