Reflecting on a goalless draw with Carlisle, Crawley boss John Gregory felt his side should have run out comfortable winners after missing “chance after chance” in the Tuesday night match.
Also in the video above the Reds boss speaks about the departure of first team coach Guy Whittingham on an eventful day at the club which saw two other members of the backroom staff made redundant, as well as contract talks and the chances of keeping Bournemouth striker Matt Tubbs next season.
The result all but saw Carlisle relegated from League One and after the game Gregory said: “I wrote on the marker board after the game 6-0, that’s what it should have been.
“I don’t think that’s any exaggeration, it was chance after chance after chance.
“Obviously Carlisle had to win, throwing everybody forward and obviously risking the opportunity of us scoring.
“For a 0-0 it was entertaining but for a manager it was very frustrating that we couldn’t kill them off.
“Our record has been pretty awful against teams down the bottom.”
