VIDEO: Sussex v Notts Day 3 close of play - Notts 429-3
ADAM Voges (117 not out) and Samit Patel (91) have put Nottinghamshire into a position from which they could win during tomorrow's final day.
Notts have a lead of 120 going into the final day's play in this LV county Championship match against Sussex at Horsham, thanks to a brutal evening session which saw Voges and Patel accelerate the scoring, Patel's 91 coming from 41 balls.
Play had been delayed until 3.10pm by the morning rain, and although Luke Wright claimed the wicket of Matthew Wood early on, Sussex could not apply enough pressure with Patel the only other wicket to fall on day three.
