South African fast bowler Travis Muller is hoping to take his excellent form for Cape Cobras forward into the new Sussex Cricket League season.
The 21-year-old is Horsham Cricket Club’s new overseas player and having arrived last Friday the youngster says he is raring to get going.
Travis enjoyed a fine end to the season back in South Africa, taking five wickets on his debut for Cape Cobras. The paceman, who says his biggest weapon is his ability to swing the ball, has made more than 20 first-class appearances, taking 74 wickets and hitting 222 runs.
He should feature in his first Horsham friendly game on Thursday, and then in the T20 Cup match at Slinfold on Saturday, with the league campaign beginning the following weekend away at Bexhill (Saturday, May 10).
