Sussex to bat first at Horsham

SUSSEX have been put into bat after losing the toss on the first morning of the LV County Championship game against Nottinghamshire.

Sussex give starts to Horsham batsman Chris Nash and wicketkeeper Andrew Hodd, but there is no place for spin bowler Will Beer.

Pace bowler Pepla Sandri takes his first class bow for Sussex, while another Horsham old boy Robin Martin-Jenkins comes in for Yasir Arafat.

For Notts, Mark Wagh replaces Paul Franks after recovering from injury, and Luke Fletcher comes in for Darren Pattinson, who won one Test cap for England last summer.
