MIKE NORRIS led the way with 91 as Roffey booked their place in the second round of the Kingfisher ECB cup with a 49 run defeat of Three Bridges yesterday.

Roffey, who reached the last-16 of last year’s competition, saw off Bridges after posting 211-7, with skipper Norris setting the tone, before dismissing their local rivals for 162.

Elsewhere, Horsham made light work of Billingshurst, chasing down 86 for the loss of four wickets.

Roffey will now play Normandy in the second round on Sunday, while Horsham will face Alton at home.
