HORSHAM CC skipper Craig Gallagher was ecstatic after his side’s ‘winning draw’ at leaders Hastings in the Sussex Premier League on Saturday.
After posting 243-7, thanks to a half century from Kiwi Matt Henry, and a better than a run a ball 47 from Gallagher, Horsham restricted Hastings to 210-8 in reply, without landing a final blow.
Gallagher said: “I am looking at it as a winning draw, we did not expect to get a lot from that game.
“I think it always gives confidence if four second team players can come in and get a winning result against the league leaders.
“It gives us a huge amount of positive energy going forward.”
