Cricket returns to The BrightonandHoveJobs.com County Ground today for the 2015 season, as Sussex welcome Leeds/Bradford MCCU to Hove for a first-class three-day match.

Sussex completed their pre-season tour of the UAE last week and will be looking for some vital match practice on English soil ahead of the opening LV=County Championship match with Hampshire on Sunday 12th April. There will also be a two-day friendly match with Surrey next week at Hove.

Pace duo Tymal Mills and Ajmal Shahzad, recruited from Essex and Nottinghamshire respectively over the winter, are set to make their first-class debuts for Sussex.

Lewis Hatchett misses the game through injury, while James Anyon will miss the opening weeks of the season as he recovers from a knee problem and Matt Prior continues his rehabilitation from his Achilles injury.

Entrance is free for all three days of the match and play is scheduled to get underway at 11am this morning despite early rain.

The Sussex squad consists of BC Brown (wkt), C Cachopa, HZ Finch, ME Hobden, EC Joyce (capt), SJ Magoffin, TS Mills, CD Nash, A Shahzad, LWP Wells, LJ Wright, MH Yardy, SAA Zaidi.
