HORSHAM YMCA manager Chris White says this weekend's Sussex Senior Cup trip to St Francis Rangers will be a good test of his side's character.

YM suffered a 4-1 drubbing at home to Division 2 side Peacehaven on Saturday in the FA Vase, and afterwards a disappointed White told his players to turn out for the reserves in midweek to get the defeat out of their system.

Coming off such a result, St Francis will be a tough proposition for the Gorings Mead side. Their hosts currently sit sixth in County League Division 1, one place ahead of White's men.

"It will be tough," he said. "St Francis are flying at the moment. But that's when you find out if there is character."
