NEW HORSHAM signing Jean-Michel Sigere says he wants to help take the team 'a long way' after scoring on his Hornets debut today in the FA Cup.

Sigere slotted home a second half penalty to double Horsham's advtange against Paulton Rovers, after Jacob Mingle had headed them into a 1-0 half time lead.

Paulton did pull one back in the dying minutes when ben Cleverly clipped home a free kick, and the Hornets had to endure a shaky period of stoppage time as the kitchen sink was thrown at them.

Sigere's goal proved to be the difference though, and manager John Maggs said his side looked back to ther old selves at times.
