HORSHAM boss John Maggs is confident his team has increased firepower ahead of the start of the Ryman Premier League campaign tomorrow.

The Hornets go to Canvey Island tomorrow, and take on Staines Town at Worthing on Wednesday, and Maggs admits he could nbot have asked for a much tougher start to the season.

Maggs also re-asserts his belief that despite losing the likes of Lewis Taylor over the summer, his squad is stronger than ever, thanks to signings which include Sam Page, Liam Baitup and Alex Haddow.
