GRAHAM Light was Cowfold Reserves' hat trick hero as they completed the second leg of what could be a memorable treble on Wednesday.
Light's goals secured the Tony Kopp Cup for his side in a pulsating final which saw Rudgwick almost fight back from 3-0 down, before losing 5-3.
Cowfold have now added this trophy to the Division 4 Cup won last week, and could make it a clean sweep with the league crown this week.
Manager Martin Spooner said: "We held together as we have all season and come out winners, I always knew once we got the ball down and played again it will be fine."
Light gave Cowfold the lead with their first attack of the game, rolling his man before firing past Rudgwick stopper Ben Smith. Rudgwick dominated the possession and had skipper Tom Clarke pulling all the strings – but Cowfold went 2-0 up after 21 minutes.
Ant Parsons had space to waltz to the byline, cut back onto his right foot and rifle a shot into the roof of the net.
And a goal from Nigel Smith following a defensive error put Fold in a seemingly unassailable position at the break.
But Division 3 North Rudgwick, spurred on by boss Carl Holder, staged a remarkable come back. Paul Plummer headed home Ricky Heasman's corner, and the Cowfold jitters started. Rudgwick's Plummer took advantage of that when he reached the by-line and squeezed a shot inside the near post.
But as time ran out, Cowfold composed themselves, going further ahead through Light with a swift counter attack. And the same man completed his hat trick with a disputed penalty.
There was still time however for Rudgwick to have a say, Joshua Smith teeing up Arron Szukiewicz with five minutes remaining.
