MICHAEL Thornely could make a return to the Horsham side for the visit of East Grinstead to Cricketfield Road on Saturday.

It could be a strong batting line up for the home side if Thornely is joined by Sussex team mate Andrew Hodd, who might yet be released by the county.

The in-form Craig gallagher will also make his debut first XI start of the season, after hitting 100 last week.

Bowler Nick Weekes is unavailable however, while Horsham are still waiting to hear of the arrival of overseas player Ansar Javed.

East Grinstead have been talking up their title aspirations, and Horsham captain Howard Kasey insists his side are not scared of their visitors.

Captain Howard Kasey said: "That should be an interesting one.

"We have got quite a strong batting line up on Saturday, and last week I was pleased with the bowling and fielding. People are still a little rusty at this stage of the season."
