HORSHAM FC ace Lewis Taylor has left the Hornets, to sign for former club AFC Wimbledon.

Taylor refused to sign a contract extension this year and was a free agent at the end of the season.

Speculation had surrounded Taylor's intentions to leave the club since the start of the year, but manager John Maggs revealed this afternoon that Taylor has agreed terms with the Dons - promoted to the Blue Square South division after winning the Ryman league play-offs.

Maggs said: "I wish him all the very best, I thank him for his efforts at the club and he has been a very very good player for us."
