ROFFEY suffered a second successive defeat on Saturday, despite posting an impressive 280 runs.
Opener Aaron Jeal top scored for the home side with a mature 94 runs, while overseas ace Sam Adams bludgeoned 63, but visitors Bexhill had as much batting power and eased to their target for the loss seven wickets with almost three overs to spare.
Spinner Luke Barnard took three Bexhill wickets, while Jon Haffenden was furious with himself for getting out, stumped by Jeal, on 92. Simon Austin's 52 and an unbeaten 19 from Ritchie Harrison saw Bexhill home.
