HORSHAM Football Club paid one final goodbye to their Queen Street home this morning as they prepared to hand the site over to property developers.

Persimmon Homes will now take over the site, where housing will replace the 104 year old ground.

The Hornets will ground-share at Worthing while they await permission and the construction of a new ground at the Holbrook Club in North Heath Lane.

You make it sound as though they are guaranteed to get planning permission. I can assure you they are not. There is a lot of local opposition to the plan to build a stadium in the Holbrook area. There are at least 120 letters of opposition to the plan on the council website.

As it says above "while they await permission".

You forgot to mention that the 120 letters, which were all prompted by an offensive scare mongering leaflet shoved through people's doors, are all in an identical format and as ill-informed as each other.

You have a lot to learn about non league football and it's fans.

RIP Queen Street

In addition, amongst the 120 letters on the council website, three of them are from your good self and happen to all be identical letters, just sent in three times. Quantity as oposed to quality.
