THE LEADERS could barely be separated at Mannings Heath's Centenary Challenge Texas scramble.

Scoring in the blustery conditions was superb, as a 12 under par round of 60 off the Waterfall Course's medal tees proved just enough to earn victory for Tom Cleeve, Ross Higham, Ian Applegate and Ollie Booth.

But it required a countback to the sixth hole to split them from the quartet who tied with them on nett 58.1 - Ian West, Mark Cattermole, Ray Page and Tim Roberts - whose team handicap of 5.9, one tenth of their aggregate, was four shots higher.
