SOUTHWATER racing driver Jolyon Palmer slipped from second to third after the latest round of the Formula Palmer Audi Championship.
Palmer, aged 17, claimed second place from pole-position, a fourth – from a front row start – and a seventh in the 30-lap races on the 1.2-mile track at Brands Hatch in Kent.
Comma Oil-sponsored Jolyon now has 304 points – and is now 22 points behind championship leader Jason Moore from Bedford (Bedford) 18 rounds.
The final two races for the turbocharged 1.8-litre powered Audi single-seaters are staged at Silverstone on September 20.
